Our Story

Located in Grand Forks B.C., The Wooden Spoon is the heart of the town. Come in and enjoy a vast selection of breakfast and lunch menu items as well as hot coffee and specialty drinks. Our friendly staff is happy to serve you. On Monday-Saturday from 8:00am-3:00pm, and Sundays from 8:00am-1:00pm.

The Wooden Spoon was founded in 2013 by Kayla Sebastian. We expanded the restaurant in 2016 from our small location which only seated approximately 40 people. Our new location has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating options and tons more menu options with frequent daily specials. We also offer event catering services ranging from weddings to music festivals and everything in between. We look forward to serving you!

So worth the stop! Stumbled across the place on a road trip drive through, and am SO happy we did! Best breakfast in a very long time, that I honestly talked about for at least an hour. Locally sourced and organic food, served in breakfast classics, Ina family friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Staff and patrons were so friendly, and service very fast. The place was not surprisingly packed, but running smoothly. Stop by for Breakfast or Lunch and don’t forget a home baked treat to go!

The place where locals go, and tourists alike. Great coffee. We were there for breakfast, one in our party had the Salted Caramel French Toast it was amazing. Two others had more traditional cooked breakfasts and too were made to perfection. Such amazing flavours. Even though the place was very busy the staff still had time to chat. A hidden gem just off the highway.

We just ate at the Wooden Spoon. It was the best breakfast my wife and I have ever had! The food is delicious! The portions are exceptional! The service is outstanding! We are from Calgary AB and visit Grand Forks every year. This is our go to place to eat from now on! I highly recommend the Wooden Spoon to all! It is a delightful experience! Thank you to the staff and chefs that made our dining experience a memorable and enjoyable adventure!
